Observations

• The call and offer of our Lord is one to which we must respond daily. Taking his yoke upon us, and learning of Him, is a lifelong venture. Having His yoke upon us is how we become like him, as He walks with us on the other side of the yoke, i.e. we are yoked together with him.

• There is a continual coming to Christ, spirit, soul and body.
  • We bring our bodies
  • We bring our heart, our love our affections
  • We bring our intellect - The father has revealed these things to children, not to the "wise and intelligent."
  • We bring our conscience

Questions

• Pastor said that "these are words to live by." How should we understand and practice that statement?

Prayer

Lord, grant us grace and help to come to you daily and to walk with you. In times when we are weary, or feeling selfish, or lazy, or irritated, help us to stay yoked, and to walk with you.
